He? He Smokes??

Hi!!
He?.. He Smokes?? ........ hunh I knew.
You must be wondering about the heading of this blog. Must be thinking : What do I take it for? Does Parimal smokes and he is trying to justify his smoking ? Or is he trying to spy about some other person? But its not so.

We frequently come across this question in our lives. Sometimes somebody else raises this question and sometimes we ourselves. But the objective of this question is always to make a quick impression about someone without going in detail or caring for reality. If the answer comes as a Yes , not a moment is wasted in making a wrong impression about the person. And its not that I am justifying smoking or this question is just related to smoking . This word can be replaced by many other verbs and such possible verbs are many. And even then the answer and its consequences would be the same.

Its very easy for people to make a bad image of anyone. But seldom people try to know deeper. Nobody cares for the reasons and situations that made the person take to bad habits , or even the answer they have got is correct or not . Has the person giving the answer himself/herself seen or heard it. Or is it from some other source. Or it has come into existence just because of someone's own grudge. All just care for the final image . Nobody seems to be interested in knowing the truth.

In earlier times whenever such a question was raised about someone people used to take time in making someone's image. Lots of inquiries were carried out before coming to a decision about someone. But then people had time to carry out such an investigation (and still had lesser time to raise such a question). Also the real life networking was prominent. Without any every minute posts or tweets people knew a lot about people in their network. It was only in few cases such decisions were taken in haste , mostly because it was difficult to carry out such an investigation.

The lone sufferer of this quick verdict is the person about whom this question was raised. His "Hate's Club" grows in size without his knowledge. Any new person trying to get closer to him starts shifting away. Nobody comes to ask him the reason behind his habit. He might never know about such an image of him. But the day when such an image brings a lifetime loss to him , he is left shaken, pitying himself for his image. Everyone on this Earth has some bad habits in them. Its in me , its in you, its in everyone. No one was born perfect or is devoid of bad habits. What may be just a bad habit in us, can also be used, magnified and propagated in the same fashion as we do about others. People should refrain from this habit of raising this question or answering it with some truth hidden. Who knows someday or other someone living in this world may ask about you : He? ... He Smokes??????

Un-Corrupted India!!!

Almost everyone seems to like the page STAND WITH ANNA HAZARE. They say they have liked all anti corruption facebook pages, followed relevant twitters & watched all prime time news discussions and they feel that they have contributed enough for the elimination of corruption from India. Is elimination of Corruption so easy? If it’s so then, after so many “Like”ings will India be a corruption free country on Monday morning, because according to them each Like is a contribution to the strive of making India corruption free. Will all these virtual world virtual contributions eliminate corruption? The answer is a big “NO”. All these virtual world activities can never eliminate corruption, because when it comes to the real world we all are a part of, or sometime have been a part of it. One man in this big country can never eliminate something which is now deep in everybody’s skin. Should we not stand-up against corruption in real world, and take some real steps? If we all can stand up t

27/12/2010 - BACK HOME!!!

Hi! Today I am back home after exactly one year. It felt so good to see my family , my home , my world after one year. Lots of questions, answers , excuses , suggestions , stories..... and emotions. After living alone for 1 year, emotions seem to be some alien thing. It took me a couple of hours, but finally, I realised I am also a human being, who was living in an alien world , and I am not indifferent to the emotional people here . It was such a happy thing coming home after so long. Still in Bangalore , one month back, I had become so nostalgic person. All the time my mind used to remain occupied with all the nostalgic thoughts. My home , my family , my town - its roads , mornings afternoons, evenings , nights , time spend with my friends roaming on the roads uselessly. I had started relating evening sunshine on the leaves of the trees to the same here in Bhagalpur. Whatever I might be doing I just used to keep thing about my city. When the time to go home neared I became so nost
